The Church Of Christ - Ghana

The 13th of August, 2011 was the day of the official launch of the 50th anniversary of the church of Christ in Ghana. This marked the beginning of the celebration of the 50th anniversary. It will continue till December.

Many were the brethren who attended. Delegations of congregations were sent from all parts of the country. The following is a brekdown of attendance and announcements:

1. all 10 regions of the country were represented at the launching.

2. of the 831 in attendance, the following were recorded

93 Preachers

19 Elders

12 Deacons

3. all the Radio and TV programmes by the church costs GHC 30,000 every three months. The greater amount is borne by only six churches. It is becoming difficult to sustain the programmes due to lack of funds. We cannot afford to stop these programmes as there are records to show the massive conversions that are taking place as a result. A couple of churches have converted to church of Christ. Your donations are urgently needed. Meanwhile there are other religious organisations who hate the truth and want to take our place at the stations. Your contributions will keep us in place. 4. Greater Accra Preachers' wives fellowship to be inaugurated on 27th August 2011 at Nsawam Road church
